It is your brother, Mike.Sometimes I read your blog and I find it interesting that we have the same position in a club: Public Relation. I hold this in Columbia TW club and treasurer in TW focus. As you said, you are a man live in/for the future. I agree with you and go with you. That is why now I study accounting, statistics, budgetting and economics at the same time. They are not favorable for me before, as my weakness.

A famous athlete
The famous athlete I admire is Ichiro Suzuki. He bears a lot of good characters that makes him one of the best baseball players in the world. Firstly, he is a really hard-working person. Although he has been awarded numerous prizes in MLB, he still dedicates himself to routine practices and strict to himself. Secondly, he has strong confidence. There are many difficulties in the games. But he never gives up. The only thing he does is to overcome all of the obstacles and go forward. Finally, he is the first Japanese fielder in MLB. He sets a goal for the followers. All the other Japanese players regarded him as the role model. Those are reasons why he is my favorite athlete.
Favorite band
My favorite band is Beatles. They open up a new page to the music. They are one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed in the history of the pop music. Moreover, their innovative music helped define the 60’s and their influence on pop music is still evident today. Most importantly, their clothes, styles and statement made them trend-setter, their influence not only on pop music, but also on the 1960’s culture and society. Therefore, Beatles is my favorite band.
Favorite actor/actress
My favorite actor is Tom Hanks. He is an excellent actor that he always cooperates well with his director and precisely performs the role. Especially the movie “ forrest gump” , he acts like a real autism person. And he is also a humble person. Though he has won two best actors in Oscar prize, he remains modest and never become a pride person. Therefore, he is my favorite actor.
好老師的character?
Well, to me a good teacher should bear following characters:
Firstly, a good teachers should be patient. Every student has their ability. The teacher should pay attention to those slower learners and help them to catch up with their classmates.
Secondly, a good teacher should be responsible. A good teacher must aware what they behave and teach, because it can shape the future of the students.
Finally, a good teacher should be kind. Students make some mistakes sometimes, a good teacher should encourage them to fix mistakes instead of scolding them.
2. 你敬佩的一個人的好性格？（2006/3/16/17）(2006/10/22)(1) 你敬佩的人是誰？ my father greatly influence me. He bears some good characters. Firstly, he keeps an open mind. He always accepts the different opinions and bears new ideas. Therefore, he can keep up with the modern days and realize what the youth think. Secondly, he is a hard-working person. once he decided to do something, he dedicated himself and do his best. Therefore, his boss admired him a lot and he get promoted smoothly. Finally, he is a righteous person. he has his own rules and never be compromised by others. He is a role model to me.
3. Important characteristics in friends.
A good friend bears some good characters. Firstly, he must have a sense of humor. That he can cheer me up when I am sad. Secondly, he must be honest. With this character, he can point out my drawback and help me to change it, instead of flatter me. Finally, he must be reliable. Every time I meet with some difficult, he can help me solve the problems and overcome obstacles.
5. Leader 應該有的qualities? (2006/10/21)a leader should bear the following characters. Firstly, he should respect his subordinates. He should trust them and let them have some kind of power to make some decisions by their own. Secondly, he must be calm. he should not be disturbed by some unexpected problems, instead, he has to be calm and finds out ways to solve problems. Finally, he should have good social skills. He has to know how to communicate and get along well with his subordinates. He has to build a harmonious relationship among all of his members.

the person I admire is Thomas Edison. He is such a talented person that he invented a lot of objects that drastically changed the world. For example, he invented the electric light bulb which makes human possible to work at night. And also the telegraph systems, which improve the speed of communicating system. Based on his inventions, the modern life could be so convenient. Therefore, I admire him.
